UK Accents & Characters
If you’re looking to inject something different into your voiceover project, then have I got an array of colourful accents and characters for you!
And trust me, after a day of e-learning or corporate narration jobs, my characters and accents just love to come out and play.
The people of the British isles speak with some wonderful sounds, many of which I can tap into for your project.
But not all of my accents and characters are comedic. So if you need a serious accented read, I’m also well equipped to do so.
My normal speaking voice is British RP (received pronunciation), but I was born and grew up in the West Midlands.
That way, I am completely at home dipping into my Birmingham, Solihull and Black Country tones.
In fact, some of my biggest clients are from the region – and book me precisely because I’m from there, too.
My UK characters and accents include:
- Black Country
- Northern Irish
- Stoke On Trent
- Baby voice
- Child voice
- Little boy voice
- Little girl voice
- Nosey neighbour
- Fairy voice
- Witch voice
- Jane Horrocks soundalike
All of these can be delivered in a variety of voiceover styles, including:
- Natural and real
